Hi, I am Jonathan Christopher Igler.

Currently, I work as a consultant in the field of SAP Analytics Consulting at Deloitte Consulting GmbH. Beyond the sole consultancy for several SAP-native products, I get to implement these very products. Put differently, those projects incorporate the handling of data up to the utilization of bespoken data for report and analytical purposes. What is more, the latter is thus extended by tailoring customer demands in so-called Analytical Applications, where state-of-the-art analytical features are used not only to display this data, but also allow for modification and synchronization with the respective data-warehouses. In order to allow further manipulation of the data, the boundaries of these features are further extended by implementing custom-built functions via JavaScript. In addition to project work, I present this technical knowledge to new-joiners in Deloitte’s very own SAPcademy, regardless of the respective staff’s seniority. Moreover, me and my team analyze the options of merging Machine-Learning algorithms to the SAP-frame, boosting new analysis and insights for the respective client.

Throughout my career, I was able to work in the utter most different areas. As a consequence, I can assure a wide range of practically implemented skills, as summarized in the following:

  • Soft Skills:
    • Analysis and Calculation of financial data, such as EBIT/EBITDA, Break-Even-Point, NOPAT and sales breakdowns considering labour force, sales area and the respective location profile.
    • Data Governance and compliance with respective GDPR requirements.
    • Internal and external communication of a variety of topics to both, stake- and shareholders.
    • Implementing and setting-up employee training.
    • Managing of staff: From onboarding into company or project to staffing and coordination.
    • Working in large and international teams both, on- and off-site.
    • Languages: German, Portuguese, English and Spanish.
  • Hard Skills:
    • Broad knowledge in programming languages such as Python, R and JavaScript.
    • Basic knowledge in programming languages such as SQL, HTML and Matlab.
    • SAP - mainly Data Warehousing, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud

For me, hard work, once combined with enthusiasm, leads to success not only for myself, but to everybody involved in the process. Apart from living this in my job, I employ this mindset in my interests in various distinct fields, such as: Planespotting, Flight Simulation, fitness, painting and photography. A major part of my time is set on my special interest in the field of Aeronautics and the field of Machine Learning: I stay informed about newest trends and technical changes. For the former, this knowledge is broadened whilst visiting airports and getting to know this business hands-on by deepening my theoretical knowledge in (partially) full-motion simulators on a variety of Airbus and Boeing planes. As for the topic of Machine Learning, I participate in a variety of trend-setting courses or coding challenges (shoutout to Daniel Bourke).
